Note 1: Lab reports submitted after the due date/time are considered late. Canvas will automatically enter a grade of zero (0) for late submissions. The lab report may still be submitted but may be reduced one letter grade or not accepted by the discretion of the Instructor. Note 2: Show all work for calculations. Work submitted with answers alone will receive a maximum grade of "C" or not accepted. Note 3: Canvas will automatically assign a grade of zero (0) for assignments that are not submitted by the due date. Work may still be submitted for marking. Canvas will also automatically remove points for work submitted past the due date. |

Lab Grade Requirement: Nine (9) lab reports are required to pass the lab and lecture courses. A FINAL LAB GRADE of "F" will be assigned if the requirement is not met. Consult with the Instructor if you encounter any issue in meeting this requirement. The average of the lab report grades will be reported as the final lab grade in the CHEM 950 course. Lab reports submitted within two (2) weeks of course closure will be assigned a maximum grade of "C." Review the Canvas course calendar for all due dates. |
