For this assignment, I would like students to start to consider if they want to work on the Final Project Individually or in a Group. I always strongly encourage students to work in Teams. The maximum number of members in a team is 3. This means that teams can be composed of 2 or 3 members. If a student is working individually, the student is still responsible for all of the components in the Final Project. Students working in teams will have both Team Contribution Components and Individual Contribution Components. There will be a grade for the items that the team created collaboratively. The group components will be primarily a collection of design documentation such as an ER Diagram, a Relational Schema, Metadata Documentation, Test Data along with SQL Statements to CREATE the Database and INSERT Sample Data. There is also a Part II individual component. In the individual component, there will be individual points awarded for students writing a collection of individual SQL Statements. These individualized SQL statements are based on SQL topics and skills covered during the semester.
