Week 5 Overview

Welcome to Week 5, the final week of the semester.  This week, you have an opportunity to finish or revise any of the remaining programming assignments that are still open for submission.   You should review the class announcement detailing the final due dates for the last four programming assignments.

The goal this week, is to increase your knowledge in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Real-Time Strategy Game Development.  This will involve reading the chapter on AI and RTS game development, completing the assignment, taking the quiz, and taking the exit survey for the National Science Foundation (NSF).  You can optionally play Micro RTS to get a feel for playing a generic Real-Time Strategy Game. Micro RTS was designed and developed by a researcher in AI and RTS game development at Drexel University.

You will find the two additional assignments in the Artificial Intelligence Module.   There are quizzes containing a few questions about artificial intelligence.  The purpose of the pre-quiz is to ascertain your knowledge of artificial intelligence and Real-Time Game Development prior to using the material in this lesson.

  3. A brief Post Quiz

Once you have access to the chapter material, you should:
